 Experience this touching portrayal of the life and work of "Snowflake" Bentley. This multi media biography tells the story of the Vermont farmer who discovered that "no two snowflakes are alike." Learn of his lifelong passion and determination to become the preserver of the beauty in nature as he overcame many obstacles. Narration of Bentley's own words are combined with his stunning photographs.

 

Additionally, there are nine relaxing video segments which show the beautiful photographs of Wilson Bentley set to original music compositions. Included are two tracks by the world renowned Vermont band, The Samples.

The Wilson Bentley Digital Archives (WBDA) is an historic preservation project featuring an interactive CD-ROM series: Volume 1, The Man & His Images. This volume presents over 1000 snowflake images as well as frost, dew, and other Bentley related photographs.

CD-ROM containing over 1000 snowflake images and many frost, dew, and other photographs, articles by Bentley, other documents about his work, a film clip of the man at his camera (circa 1917), Bentley trivia, 2 snowflake games*, and much more.

A public WBDA Message Board to contribute suggestions and feedback to the production team.

Placement on our mailing list to receive the online newsletter Snow Crystals, with information about Bentley and other Bentley product announcements.
